Blue glaze               

This glaze is probably my most popular. The glaze recipe, firing method and position of the pot in the kiln all have an effect on the final colour and finish and the variety of shades and hues is one of the attractions of this glaze. Even within one batch, no two pots will ever be quite the same.

I decorate the blue glaze in different ways. The choice of decoration is often connected with the shape of the pot, i.e. whether it is an upright or flat form, or how much detail there is in the actual shape itself.
